Are lasers sometimes combined with liposuction?

Yes.  Lasers are not routinely used in liposuction, but in certain situations lasers may help shrink the skin by augmenting the skin tightening effect which naturally occurs due to liposuction.  This is most commonly the case in the neck, where loose skin may be tightened by a combination of CO2 laser resurfacing of the underside of the skin in combination with liposuction of the neck.
