Male Liposuction CostThe cost for male liposuction is usually somewhat greater than than the cost for female liposuction. There are three main reasons for this. First is that male fat is more fibrous and thus somewhat more difficult and time consuming to remove. The fibrous septae within the fat are thicker and more robust in men. This feature can actually be seen under the microsope when examining skin biopsies containing fat. The second reason is that the areas for which men most commonly request liposuction (male breast / chest, love handles, and abdomen are body sites where the fat tends to be more fibrous in both sexes. The third reason is that men are larger than women, and so there is more fat to remove.
