It is likely that your clothes will fit differently after liposuction.

 Changes in how your clothes fit start at about two weeks to four weeks for most patients. 

If prior to liposuction, you gained weight and gained it mostly in the area treated by liposuction, then your clothes will be less tight fitting in those areas. 

Also, clothes that currently no longer fit may begin to fit a few weeks after liposuction. 

It is likely that you will need to buy some new clothes after liposuction to get a good fit. 

Very commonly, misproportioned patients who had a difficult time clothes shopping prior to liposuction are delighted at how easy it is to find clothes that they like which both fit and look great, after liposuction.
