Photos: Morpheaform basal cell carcinomas, such as this lesion in the pre-auricular area, have ill-defined borders and are often invasive and aggressive. These qualities make recurrence after treatment more common with morpheaform tumors. Morpheaform BCCs also have a certain histologic appearance.
