Photos: Palmar pits of the nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (basal cell nevus syndrome). These small pits occur on the palms of patients with this syndrome. Patients with the syndrome tend to develop very large numbers of basal cell carcinomas, primarily in sun-exposed skin.
