Nodular Basal Cell Carcinoma of the Cheek

Photos: A very small translucent papule on the cheek, which might easily be mistaken for sebaceous hyperplasia. This papule is more translucent and less yellow than sebaceous hyperplasia. It also bled from time to time, a common finding in basal cell carcinoma of all types. To the right is an intradermal nevus. Click for Histology.
