Recurrent and extensive Basal Cell Carcinoma of the Face

Photos: This lesion recurred after treatment and was then ignored. It has invaded the forehead, glabella, nasal root, and the orbits. The lesion is so extensive that surgical treatment would be difficult. Although basal cell carcinoma rarely metastasizes, it is locally invasive and can result in extensive destruction of tissue if not treated.
